Meet Author Audrey Peyton

Audrey Peyton is a native of London, England. A former free-lance fashion model in London, her first full-time modeling job in America came at Neiman Marcus in Dallas, Texas. Although her passion for writing fiction began in grade school, it was not until later years that three Harlequin romantic suspense novels were published.

Her extended pause in writing occurred when she went into business with her son Richard, and for 13 years the pair built a highly successful nationwide first aid and safety supply company. In 1995 they moved the company from California to Texas. After two years in the Lone Star state they sold out lock, stock and barrel to a larger business in the same industry.

Peyton then returned to the California desert, where she still owned a home and, after a brief respite, resumed writing in earnest, starting with the biography of MGM lion trainer Floyd Humeston and his world-famous lion Fagan.

Peyton lives in Palm Desert, California with her dogs Sushi and Snoopy, and cats Saki and Cookie.
